Product Description
Duplex Board is a cost-effective, multi-layered paperboard manufactured primarily from recycled waste paper pulp. It typically features a coated white surface (made from bleached chemical pulp and coating pigments) to facilitate high-quality printing, and a grey bottom layer (made from mixed recovered paper). It is the standard material for secondary packaging where rigidity and print quality are required at an economical price point.
Multi-Ply Structure:
Composed of a coating layer, a top layer (bleached pulp), a middle layer (waste paper/filler), and a bottom layer (grey newsprint /mixed waste).
High Stiffness:
Engineered to provide excellent structural integrity, allowing boxes to hold their shape during stacking and transportation.
Printability:
The top side is coated (clay coating) to ensure a smooth, glossy surface suitable for offset, gravure, and flexographic printing.
Converting Suitability:
Designed to withstand die-cutting, creasing, and gluing processes without delamination .
