Specialty papers enhance gift packaging by adding aesthetic appeal, perceived value, and tactile experience. To support creative design and reinforce brand identity, manufacturers incorporate natural elements-such as tea leaves, silk, cotton, seeds, petals, and wool-into paper matrices, creating unique sensory experiences.

CE-001 Coffee Paper contains 95% recycled PCW (post-consumer waste) fibers and 5% coffee husks. Its surface displays a coffee-toned, organic pattern with a natural texture and pleasant hand feel. CE-002 Coffee Paper utilizes up to 15% coffee residue in place of virgin pulp, contains no genetically modified components, and is protected by European patents in both formulation and production.

Silk Paper incorporates silk fibers into the pulp, significantly improving tensile strength and durability. It offers a fine, silky touch, vibrant color reproduction, and excellent opacity-even with solid-color backgrounds-eliminating issues of show-through.

Wool Paper blends wool and cotton fibers with high-cellulose wood pulp. The retained wool fibers contribute to bulk and thickness while maintaining acceptable print fidelity. Unlike conventional papers, wool paper feels slightly coarse; friction generated when rubbing the surface produces warmth, conveying a sense of substance and simplicity.

Leaf Paper is crafted from naturally shed leaves collected, sun-dried, and pulverized, then processed using traditional handmade techniques. Abundant long plant fibers enhance resilience. Fragmented leaf particles remain visible on the surface, imparting a distinctive, elegant character.

Seed Paper embeds viable seeds-such as lavender, poppy, daisy, wild chrysanthemum, or mint-within layers of pulp. After soaking in water, the paper can germinate, allowing recipients to grow plants. This interactive feature transforms packaging into an experiential medium, promoting sustainability and engagement.

Petal Paper is manufactured using ancient handcrafting methods, combining wood pulp and bark with natural flowers and botanicals through multiple processing stages. The resulting paper is thick, durable, dimensionally stable, and resistant to insects and decay. It emits a subtle, natural fragrance from embedded floral materials.

Japanese Riki Paper, produced by Takeo, features a plush, cotton-like texture. Its velvety surface, warm neutral tone, and soft yet resilient nature evoke associations with comfort, tradition, and craftsmanship, leaving a lasting impression on users.

Dongba Paper is made from mulberry and pandanus bark, representing a rare form of handmade paper historically used for recording Dongba scriptures and paintings. It is highly durable, moisture-resistant, and insect-repellent. Premium Dongba paper appears ivory-white and gradually develops a bronze patina over time when stored, reflecting its archival qualities.

Leather-textured paper features a pronounced texture and an uneven surface, contributing to its distinctive tactile quality. This type of paper is widely utilized across various applications. Heavier and thicker variants are commonly employed for sample book covers and tender documents, whereas lighter yet still substantial versions are preferred for gift packaging and bookbinding covers.
