Large paper

In the paper industry, "large paper" generally has two common meanings.

One refers to large-size paper (large-format paper), which is the standard large-sized base paper widely used in packaging and printing. It is larger than traditional regular-size paper and more suitable for making brochures, packaging boxes and printed products.

The other refers to bulk general-purpose paper, which is produced in large quantities with standardized technology and formulas. Typical products include containerboard, corrugated paper, white paperboard, offset paper and coated paper, mainly used in daily packaging, books, office printing and other basic scenarios. They feature large output, low cost and strong universality.

Specialty paper

Specialty paper is defined by special functions and specific applications, rather than size. It is designed with unique performance such as high temperature resistance, insulation, waterproofing, barrier properties, anti-counterfeiting, high strength and filtering.

It usually requires customized raw materials, processes and additives with higher technical barriers and higher added value. Typical products include insulating paper for lithium batteries, oxygen barrier paper for food packaging, medical sterilization packaging paper, industrial filter paper, banknote anti-counterfeiting paper, high-end art paper for luxury packaging, thermal paper and carbonless copy paper.
